Katrina Heijne
Delft University of Technology & SeriousCreativity Lecturer, Researcher, Owner/Creative Consultant
Amsterdam Area, Netherlands
I am researcher and lecturer at the Product Innovation Management section at the Delft University of Technology, faculty of Industrial Design Engineering in The Netherlands. In the course “Creative Facilitation” I teach master students how to facilitate groups in Creative Problem Solving (the “Delft way”). In addition, I am project leader of U_CODE: a EU Horizon2020 project aiming to create software for co-creation in urban design. Due to my passion for deliberate creativity, I am currently writing a book and developing a Minor on Creativity.
I combine this position with my role as owner/creative consultant at SeriousCreativity: improving the quality of creative processes within medium and large businesses of any kind.
I'm particularly interested in:
= the stage in between diverging and converging (named reverging);
= digitizing (parts of) the Creative Problem Solving group process;
= embedding creativity in the curriculum of student engineers.
