As humans, individual leaders spend a lot of time believing that they are:
a) doing all they can (or are doing 'enough', or are 'meeting expectations');
b) already see the leadership challenges clearly; and
c) understand what they need to do.

Beyond these biases of thinking and self perception, leaders also experience significant change/ innovation/creation challenges both conscious and unconscious to them.  The popular "change" press is littered with stories and statistics on leaders who couldn't change their own patterns, couldn't engage successfully, strategically, effectively around a needed, fundamental and organizationally critical change,while also describing how people who work with them DO see and know of leader shortcomings.

In this session, we'll explore some basic behavioral approaches, questions, "hacks" that will help you see yourself more clearly, engage with important others around you more effectively, and help you to set important priorities in service of greater, bigger, better outcomes.

What will you learn or experience as a result of this program or session?
  • Engage with other participants around individually and collectively important identity, performance and leadership questions.
  • Engage in these questions with disciplined and rigorous inquiry.
  • Through the presented material and engagement with others, create insight on biases, blind spots, gaps, and implicit assumptions.

How might the content of this program or session change your perceptions, habits, ways of working, or view on the world?
  • Identify some habits/patterns -- for him/herself -- that each might wish to shift.
  • Build each participant's "tool box" of inquiry/ questions in working with others.
  • In practicing inquiry with others, create the experience of mindful listening for each participant.

How might you apply what you learn or experience in this program or session?
  • Set a plan/ intention around one new habit/pattern to change -- with one person or in one situation - that will be valuable for the participant (and others).
  • Create a connection with another for follow up and practice, to keep the learning active after the session.
  • Identify one important priority outcome for focus and follow up.
