This event is designed for YouthWise participants, ages 8 to 13. Please bring the following to this session:
1. One Picture to be shared
2. One favorite word to be shared
3. Pencil/pen/marker
4. Paper
Note: We will e playing a game on Kahoot.
What will you learn or experience as a result of this program or session?- In this session you will experience a creative writing process.
- You will exercise your senses and have some fun.
How might the content of this program or session change your perceptions, habits, ways of working, or view on the world?- The intent of this session is to help you, the participant, become more aware of what you look at as compared to what you see.
- Additionally, you will be able to understand how personal writings can contain information for future creation.
How might you apply what you learn or experience in this program or session?- You can use these skills to persuade someone to fund your next big invention or to ask for an increase in your allowance. Or maybe just to make someone’s day a little better.
