Is your team’s productivity at a standstill due to personality clashes or cognitive differences amongst the team? Do you have great ideas, but are hesitant to share them with your team? Do you or members of your team struggle to feel valued for your diverse perspectives, or find it difficult to be your authentic self? Are you in a leadership role and eager to build a “Dream Team” of individuals who have amazing ideas, robust perspectives, and a vast collection of cognitive strengths that will help your organization increase productivity, ingenuity and overall create a safe and brave space for individuals to feel valued and appreciated within a team construct?

If your answer is “yes” to one or more of these questions, there are no worries!  This workshop is for you! Cognitive Diversity Appreciation or CDA is a theory that empowers individuals to cultivate an innovative and inclusive environment within their organizations and foster their ability to be creative change agents in our global society. CDA was also designed to educate participants on the effects of productivity, when individuals are encouraged to be their authentic selves, and share their unique perspectives while appreciating the different viewpoints of others within their team. Such goal setting promotes social justice within a team construct, ingenuity, and proficiency.

What will you learn or experience as a result of this program or session?
  • Participants will take part in workshop activities where participants will be able to obtain a working understanding of how to build their ideal organization “Build the Dream Team” using Cognitive Diversity Appreciation or CDA and identify their own unique cognitive strengths and how they can incorporate them within their organizations.
  • Participants will acquire the creative tools necessary to cultivate an inclusive environment using CDA within their organizations where participants can exercise the BRAVE model in their organizations.
