Mindfulness: Your Creativity Superpower

These are extraordinary times. Even before the pandemic, we were experiencing a period of accelerated change, which has suddenly, and without warning, expanded exponentially. Navigating these turbulent times requires we all find ways to tap into our creative potential.

At the heart of our individual and collective creativity is our ability to see something from a different perspective, imagine what doesn't yet exist, or bring together what has been apart. But how do we open ourselves up to imagine and re-imagine; to make those unlikely connections and to be available to see what wants to emerge? And how do we find clarity and composure in the midst of ambiguity and uncertainty?

The answer lies in Mindfulness: a state of focused attention that is open, present, and non-judgmental. Mindfulness is a creativity superpower. It allows us to expand our awareness of all that is around us and within us, and it creates space in our usually overcrowded consciousness for new ideas to come in. Mindfulness is like a creativity welcome mat.

In this highly experiential and interactive workshop, we will explore the concept of Mindfulness, what it is, how it works, and some of the benefits and outcomes, for both individuals and organizations. We will practice a set of powerful Mindfulness tools and techniques, appropriate for both novices and experienced practitioners, and you will have the opportunity to use the skill of Mindfulness in a creative context. And as a bonus, participants will receive weekly follow-up exercises to keep them engaged in the practice and moving forward on their journey.
