As Einstein said, “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” Stories are an easy way to tap into the imagination to develop a vision. Story-based techniques also help leaders convey a vision and bring their teams along.  During clarification, stories build empathy for users and make sense of data. Facts answer the “what.” But stories illuminate the, “so what.” This session explores story-based techniques for crafting a vision and clarifying the problem through interactive, virtual exercises.
You will experience a variety of facilitation techniques and tools to incorporate stories into innovation and creative problem solving. Join us to share stories while you learn techniques like:
  • Guided Imagery*
  • Snowball Pair and Share*
  • Story Boarding
  • Consumer Narrative Continuum
  • Story Listening*
  • Campfire story circles

*Simulation exercises
